Who We Are
The Heart of Texas Regional Pathways Network is a collaborative partnership among school districts, colleges, and industry leaders working together to prepare students for high-demand jobs in Bosque, Falls, Freestone, Hill, Limestone, and McLennan counties. Established to align education and workforce efforts, our leadership team aims to ensure that every student has access to meaningful career pathways that support their success and drive regional economic growth.

Looking Ahead to 2029: Our 5-Year Focus
The Heart of Texas Regional Pathways Network is dedicated to enhancing the future workforce by ensuring high school students have access to the educational pathways that will prepare them for in-demand careers in our region. Our efforts are centered around achieving the following goals by 2029:

Increase in CTE Concentrators and CTE Completers participating in Programs of Study aligned with the region’s targeted occupations of Healthcare, Construction and Manufacturing

Increase in the number of Rural Pathway Excellence Partnerships (R-PEP) and other regional rural collaborations between K-12, higher education, and industry

All Heart of Texas ISDs and higher education institutions use a regional data management system to support CTE programs, dual credit, and work-based learning opportunities.
